Count the holes, then hang the faucet
$200 labor covers a standard install: old faucet off, deck cleaned, new faucet set, supplies hooked to working stops, and a leak check. If the stops are seized or the sink holes do not match — a three-hole kitchen and a single-hole faucet without a deck plate — that is extra, quoted before we drill a sink you did not plan to replace.
You buy the faucet. Bring the spec sheet if the box is gone. Worcester’s hard water kills cartridges; a drip is often a $20 part, not a whole fixture, and we will say so if a repair is enough. 61 Sandra Dr.

Make the next faucet last
- Photograph the hole pattern before you shop. One hole vs. three is not a guess you want to lose.
- Shutoffs that will not turn should be replaced when we are already under the sink.
- Aerator grit from Worcester water is normal. Unscrew and rinse before you assume the valve is dead.
- Do not use the faucet as a handle to climb up on the counter. That is how pull-downs die.
Frequently asked questions
Does $200 include the faucet?
No. Labor only. You supply the fixture. If stops have to be replaced or the hole count is wrong, we quote that extra before we proceed.
Can you repair a drip instead of replacing?
Often. Cartridges and seats are cheaper than a new faucet when parts are still sold. If the finish is shot and parts are obsolete, replacement is cleaner.
