Get the water off the floor
Shut the source if you can. Stay out of the water if cords are in it. Then call or text. We bring pumps for a basement that is inches deep and extractors for a finish floor that cannot take a trash pump. Pump-out is this page. Pulling pad, setting dehumidifiers, and deciding what finishes leave is cleanup.
If the water is still coming from a break, that is leaks or signs of a plumbing emergency first. If it is coming up a grate, that is a floor drain or the main. We will say which job comes first. 61 Sandra Dr.
Labor rates
Water removal is quoted after we see the depth, the room, and whether it is clean water or sewage. New customers $75/hr. Regular rate $100/hr when the work is hourly. Drying days after the pump-out are a separate cleanup quote.

Before we arrive
- Shut water at the fixture, then at the house if the fixture stop fails.
- Kill power to the room if outlets are in the water. Do not wade in to unplug.
- Do not run a household vac on sewage, or on a depth it was not built for.
- If a toilet is overflowing, lift the tank lid and close the fill valve, or pull the flapper down.
Frequently asked questions
Will pumping it out dry the house?
No. Pumping gets standing water off the floor. Wet pad, wet board, and wet concrete still need cleanup and drying. We will not pretend the slab is dry when it is not.
Are you available 24 hours?
No. We do not claim 24/7 dispatch. Call or text. If we can come, we will tell you a window.
The sump is running but the floor is still wet.
The pump may be undersized, the discharge frozen, or the water may be coming from a drain, not the pit. See sump pumps and basement flooding. We will look at both.
